Pastor Jesse Rodriguez was born in Tijuana, Mexico and grew up in the San Fernando Valley in the Southern California area. Pastor Jesse began his walk with the Lord and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ in September 22, 1985. He then was filled with the Holy Ghost in November 3, 1985. He was called to ministry in July 1987 and thereafter ordained as a minister in July 1989. In 1990, he along with then Bishop Maffey started the Apostolic Church in the City of Costa Mesa, California. He served as an assistant pastor for approximately four years. Since then, he began his ministry as a pastor in that church since 1994. Throughout time he has served as Director of Evangelism in the East Los Angeles District, Secretary and Treasurer for the District, and served as an Elder from 2003 through 2005. He met his wife Luz in 1985 and was married on February 27, 1988. Pastor Jesse and First Lady Sister Luz are the proud parents of three gifted daughters whose names are Keila, Kimberly and Jessica. As a dynamic ministry team, they are dedicated servants of God, working together to make The Apostolic Church of Orange a warm and accepting place of worship.
